FraudAngel

Terms of Use

Last updated October 13, 2026

What FraudAngel is

FraudAngel helps you spot scams in calls, texts, emails, websites, and conversations, and lets a family member watch out for you. It is a tool to help you decide, not a guarantee. Scammers change tactics constantly, and FraudAngel can be wrong in both directions: it may miss a scam or flag something legitimate.

Your responsibility

Use your own judgment before sending money, sharing personal information, or acting on anything. If FraudAngel says something is safe and you still feel unsure, do not proceed. Never rely on FraudAngel alone for a financial decision. Call your bank, a family member, or the police if you believe you are being targeted.

Your account

You must be 18 or older to create an account. Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for activity on your account. You may delete your account at any time from the Protection tab.

Family Guard

By accepting a family invite, you agree that the person who invited you can see the results of your scam checks and receive alerts about them. By inviting someone, you agree to use that information only to help them stay safe.

Acceptable use

Do not use FraudAngel to harass anyone, to submit content you do not have the right to share, or to attempt to break, overload, or reverse engineer the service.

No warranty, limited liability

FraudAngel is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Megalancer LLC is not liable for any loss, including money lost to a scam, arising from your use of or reliance on FraudAngel. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
